Remove seven phillips head screws and remove the plastic panel to access the oil filter housing.
The oil filter case is now exposed.
Look at the old oil filter after it was removed from the motor.
Apply a light coat of oil to the o-ring and gently put it back on the oil filter casing housing. Install new oil filter in casing. Tighten to 25 Nm +/- 5 Nm. I just put the muscle on it but I don't strain myself.
