Fully loosen, three Phillips screws along the back of the battery compartment. These three screws are captive and do not come out. They remain in place on the RAM cover.
Pull the RAM cover back and then lift it out of the computer.
Locate and pull the white tab attached to the hard drive case and pull it to the right.
Remove two T8 Torx screws on the left side of the hard drive.
Remove two more T8 Torx screws on the opposite side of the hard drive case.
Separate the hard drive and the hard drive case. You will need to place the new hard drive in this case.
Reassemble this device by following these instructions in reverse order.
